Rafał is a talented and highly motivated engineering professional. He has a demonstrated drive for excellence, continuous improvement, and is a strong advocate and practitioner of SAFe/Agile methodologies. Because of his drive and passion for agile, I recommended him to serve as scrum master for our integration team. He is leading and serving admirably while continuing to push the team and himself to improve.

I would like to recommend Rafal for his effort and contribution to the release of Rockwell’s next generation of on-machine drive. Armor PowerFlex. Rafal led the firmware test team that was critical to the successful launch of our product. Rafal was a key contributor on my project team, he was always willing to go the extra mile and drive actions to completion. His approachability and dedication were critical success factors. I worked with Rafał in various areas in Test Automation for Rockwell Automation Drives. Rafał was highly organized and very well prepared for all our meetings. He knew what had to be done and recommended the best way for the group to proceed in getting the test assignments finished. Rafał is highly motivated and wants everyone in the group to make the best use of their time. He is interested in the group’s success and having the company succeed in getting there products out with high quality in a timely manner. Rafał has natural leadership abilities and would be very successful in any technical management position. He is always looking at new ways for process improvement by researching what others are doing in the field and what Software platforms are being used.

Rafal has been very involved in the development of the team since its inception. Throughout his previous positions, he has consistently delivered high-quality results that have taken our team to the next level. His extensive knowledge of testing, agile methods and a wide range of technical industry have allowed to effectively and successfully manage the project and ensure successful product launches.
Rafal has exceptionally developed interpersonal skills. He is a person who not only knows how to listen, but who can manage a team and effectively address issues to achieve business goals with the balance of the current team resources and capabiities. Those ocassional limitations are also the matter of his interest which are managed successfullly by working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

I had the pleasure to work with Rafał and collaborate with him on various projects in advanced technologies. I highly appreciate Rafał’s sound knowledge of the testing aspects in Firmware (embedded software) and software. Our project teams developed and released industrial products with critical functionalities (e.g. functional safety), and I knew I could have always relied on Rafał expertise, in-depth technical analysis, and professional support. On top of that Rafał is a friendly person and a great team player. Very often I came to him with a ‘last-minute’ request, and I have never been left alone without his support. We also had multiple discussions on topics beyond the current projects – a great colleague with whom it is a pleasure to work. I highly recommend Rafał for managerial positions in technical programs and projects where an understanding of complex is needed along with building highly motivated teams.

I have had the opportunity to work with Rafał for over a year now, and I must admit that he has introduced a new definition of a manager in the company.
Rafał has a technical background, which makes many topics much easier to discuss. This creates a very clear situation where, on the one hand, you can’t “pull the wool over his eyes,” and on the other, he understands that some things simply can’t be done (for various reasons). If the situation requires it, he tries to help match a person to a position based on their skills/interests, which allows him to utilize the employee’s potential. At the same time, he is far from the widely understood micromanagement, making cooperation with Rafał easy and calm.
Rafał has no problems with communication; he speaks calmly and clearly, and he explains the reasons for various decisions (more or less dependent on him). He always prepares for every conversation. He is interested in the situation of his subordinates and always tries to have time for others.
Rafał is eager to propose participation in various conferences, workshops, and self-education courses, and he always tries to find money for such actions. He is the organizer of the “Rock the Talk” conference at Rockwell Automation. He is an active promoter of the idea of mentoring.
From my side, I can say with a clear conscience that Rafał is definitely the right person in the right place. He is characterized by knowledge and professionalism. I highly recommend working with Rafał.

I’ve been working with Rafał as a Scrum Master in one of his teams and cannot recommend him enough. He is great with people – honest and down to Earth but firm when need be (it shows in his approach to goals). That makes him trustworthy and approachable. He’s also excellent at showing appreciation and highlighting the strengths of his employees and co-workers. He can make you feel good about what you did even if it’s the smallest thing. His other strength is being open to sharing and giving feedback. I’ve received feedback from him multiple times and have grown from it. He’s always well-prepared for meetings with an agenda and structure, which makes the meetings more effective. I know I can also count on him because when he’s responsible for something, he’ll complete it on time and thoroughly (for example the list of release activities he prepared was extensive and well-researched and it was invaluable during the release). I was also impressed with how he handled a tough topic of limited licenses recently, explaining it well to the team and supporting them in the change. Last thing, the project he initiated in our part of the organization – the Commercial Engagement Program has been a big success and gives insight into how our products are used and perceived by our clients and other stakeholders, which was an area that was not explored enough before and participants find it very interesting and valuable.
